About the Program Manager Role

The Program Manager will play a key role in implementing digital inclusion initiatives throughout Los Angeles County. The successful candidate will manage regional programs, coordinate partnerships, oversee grant-funded activities, and ensure high-quality delivery of digital skills programs.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Programs, the Program Manager will collaborate with internal teams, community organizations, local stakeholders, and Digital Skills Instructors to expand access to technology and training.

The position requires frequent travel within the Los Angeles region for community engagement, partner meetings, and program activities.

Key Responsibilities

The Program Manager will be responsible for:

Program Development and Implementation

  • Developing and executing program work plans focused on digital inclusion activities.
  • Supporting broadband enrollment initiatives and device distribution programs.
  • Improving digital skills training programs to meet community needs.
  • Managing timelines, deliverables, and program outcomes.

Community Engagement and Partnerships

  • Building relationships with nonprofits, schools, public housing agencies, government departments, and community leaders.
  • Identifying opportunities to expand digital equity programs.
  • Representing Everyone On at community meetings and events.
  • Supporting communications efforts through participant stories and community impact updates.

Training Coordination

  • Coordinating digital skills training schedules and logistics.
  • Managing Digital Skills Instructors and contractors.
  • Supporting workshops, webinars, and capacity-building sessions.
  • Monitoring training quality and gathering feedback from participants.

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting

  • Maintaining accurate program data.
  • Supporting outcome tracking and evaluation activities.
  • Preparing reports for internal teams and funding partners.
  • Assisting with compliance reviews and audits.

Grant and Budget Management

  • Managing assigned grants and reporting requirements.
  • Monitoring program budgets and expenditures.
  • Tracking resources purchased through grant funding.
  • Supporting grant proposals with program data and impact stories.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Applicants should have:

  • Experience in program management, project coordination, or digital equity initiatives.
  • Experience working with diverse and underserved communities.
  • Strong communication and partnership-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience coordinating contractors, budgets, and resources.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience delivering training or supporting adult learning programs.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Additional preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience managing California state or federally funded grants.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Airtable.
  • Experience using tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Asana, and Zoom.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
