About the Partnerships & Fundraising Officer Role

The Partnerships & Fundraising Officer will support MYCP’s efforts to build strategic relationships and secure resources that expand the organization’s global impact.

Working closely with the Partnerships Lead and teams across MYCP, the officer will identify potential partners, research funding opportunities, support donor communications, and contribute to strengthening the organization’s long-term sustainability.

The successful candidate will gain practical exposure to partnership development, grant applications, sponsorship opportunities, and relationship management within an international youth-led movement.

This is a fully remote volunteer position requiring approximately 3–5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

The Partnerships & Fundraising Officer will contribute to building MYCP’s network of supporters and partners.

Research Partnerships and Funding Opportunities

Responsibilities include:

• Identifying potential partners, sponsors, donors, and supporters aligned with MYCP’s mission.
• Researching organizations and institutions that can support youth-led migration initiatives.
• Identifying suitable grant, funding, and sponsorship opportunities.
• Supporting efforts to diversify MYCP’s funding sources.

Support Fundraising Activities

The officer will assist with:

• Preparing funding applications and expressions of interest.
• Developing donor communications and partnership materials.
• Supporting grant research and proposal development processes.
• Contributing ideas to strengthen nonprofit sustainability.

Build External Relationships

The role involves:

• Supporting relationship-building with NGOs, foundations, companies, and institutional stakeholders.
• Communicating professionally with potential partners.
• Helping maintain strong connections with external organizations.
• Supporting collaborative opportunities that advance MYCP’s mission.

Collaborate Across MYCP Teams

The Partnerships & Fundraising Officer will work with:

Previous experience in fundraising, partnerships, sales, business development, or grant writing is an advantage but not required.
