Data Analytics & ERP Consultant: Remote 3-Month Consultancy with Relief International|Deadline: 7 September 2026
Professionals with expertise in data analytics, Power BI, ERP systems and humanitarian programme management have an exciting opportunity to work remotely with Relief International as a Data Analytics & ERP Consultant. The consultancy will support the organization’s Awards Management Unit (AMU) as it strengthens its data reporting systems and prepares for the transition to an updated NetSuite Partnerships Module.
The position is particularly suited to experienced data and information-management specialists who can transform complex, multi-country programme data into practical dashboards and reporting systems.
Remote Consultancy Opportunity
The consultancy is fully remote and will run for three months, from 15 September to 15 December 2026. The consultant will work for approximately 34 days across the three-month period.
Candidates who can work during EST, EEST and/or AST working hours are particularly preferred. Applications close on 7 September 2026.
The consultant will report to the Global Awards Director, with technical oversight from the Global Awards and Donor-Compliance Coordinator and Global Partnerships Advisor.

What Will the Consultant Do?
The successful consultant will play an important role in improving how Relief International collects, manages, analyzes and presents awards and partnership data.
A major responsibility will be consolidating information currently held in different country-office award matrices. The consultant will review these datasets, identify inconsistencies and gaps, and establish a reliable master dataset covering awards, sub-awards and partners.
The consultant will also develop standardized data submission templates and quality-assurance processes. This will help country offices provide accurate and consistent information while creating a stronger foundation for organizational reporting.
Building a Power BI Dashboard
One of the most important deliverables will be the development of a live Power BI dashboard.
The dashboard will enable the Awards Management Unit to visualize information such as:
- Award and sub-award volumes
- Partner status
- Due-diligence compliance
- Cost contributions
- ICR/NICRA-related information
- Country-office performance indicators
The dashboard should be designed for different users, including the Awards Management Unit, Country Directors and senior management.
This makes advanced Power BI expertise one of the central requirements of the consultancy.
Supporting the NetSuite Transition
Relief International is also updating its NetSuite Partnerships Module, which is expected to become the system of record for award and partner information.
The consultant will therefore help create a bridge between current reporting arrangements and the future ERP environment.
This includes mapping existing dashboard fields and reporting logic to NetSuite requirements, developing interim solutions while the system transition is underway, and helping establish continuity once NetSuite becomes fully operational.
The consultant may also advise on NetSuite Analytics Connect/API connectivity, allowing Power BI to draw live information from the ERP system.
Strong documentation will be essential, including data dictionaries, reporting logic and technical handover materials.
Who Should Apply?
Relief International is looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in data management within the humanitarian or development sector, preferably with NGO experience.
Candidates should have:
- Advanced Power BI skills
- Experience with ERP or grants-management systems
- Knowledge of sub-award and grants-management processes
- Understanding of due diligence and risk assessment
- Experience with cost share/match and ICR/NICRA concepts
- Experience developing interim or bridge data solutions
- Strong data-quality and governance skills
- Experience working with multi-country datasets
A background in business analysis or product management would be an advantage, particularly for candidates who can translate organizational requirements into technical specifications for developers.
Experience supporting data or systems migration projects is also highly desirable.
