Senior Data Analyst Remote Job Opportunity
Women First Digital is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to strengthen its analytics capabilities and help transform complex data into meaningful insights.
This is a full-time remote position open to qualified professionals from different locations, including:
- Kenya
- Nigeria
- South Africa
- Mexico
- India
- Other global locations with reliable internet access
The role offers a monthly salary of USD $1,800 – $2,000, alongside benefits including paid leave days, sick leave days, national holidays, and medical allowance in line with WFD policies.
The contract duration is 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Data Analyst
The Senior Data Analyst will play an important role in improving Women First Digital’s data systems and supporting evidence-based decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and optimizing WFD’s centralized data ecosystem, including data repositories, documentation, and analytics platforms.
- Ensuring data quality, accuracy, accessibility, and scalability across different organizational systems.
- Integrating new data sources as digital platforms and reporting requirements continue to evolve.
- Developing and maintaining dashboards and reporting tools that provide valuable organizational insights.
- Analyzing user journeys, platform performance, operational efficiency, and organizational impact.
- Identifying trends, opportunities, risks, and data gaps to support strategic planning.
- Supporting donor reporting, monitoring frameworks, and impact measurement.
- Collaborating with Digital Operations, Partnerships, and Digital Marketing teams.
- Improving data literacy, automation, and analytics processes across the organization.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Women First Digital is looking for candidates with strong technical skills and experience in data analysis.
Applicants should have:
- A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, visualization, or data management.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including PivotTables, formulas, Power Query, and data connections.
- Strong SQL skills, including database queries, joins, aggregations, and data manipulation.
- Experience using Python for data analysis, automation, cleaning, and ETL processes.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Google Looker Studio.
- Knowledge of Google BigQuery and cloud-based data warehouses is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and digital analytics concepts.
- Experience working with APIs and JSON data is beneficial.
- Strong communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of French or Spanish will be considered an advantage.
