Peace Track Initiative Seeks Consultant to Deliver Training on Countering Hate Speech Against Women | Apply by 16 June 2026

The Peace Track Initiative (PTI) is inviting applications from experienced consultants to design and deliver a specialized training on countering hate speech against women. This remote consultancy opportunity is ideal for professionals with expertise in gender equality, women’s rights, digital safety, advocacy, and peacebuilding.

As hate speech targeting women continues to increase across online and offline spaces, particularly among women involved in politics, public leadership, and peacebuilding efforts, there is a growing need for practical strategies to address these threats. Through this consultancy, PTI aims to strengthen the capacity of its team and stakeholders to understand, document, and respond effectively to gender-based hate speech.

About the Consultancy

The selected consultant will design and facilitate a foundational training programme that equips participants with the knowledge and practical tools needed to identify, analyze, document, and counter hate speech targeting women.

The consultancy will support PTI’s broader efforts in mapping, advocacy, policy engagement, and stakeholder outreach.

Training Objectives

The primary objective of the training is to build participants’ capacity to:

  • Analyze trends and patterns of hate speech targeting women

  • Safely engage with government and institutional stakeholders
  • Develop advocacy and media strategies to counter harmful narratives

The training will provide participants with actionable knowledge that can support future research, policy engagement, and advocacy initiatives.

Scope of Work

The consultant will be responsible for developing and delivering a customized training programme tailored to PTI’s context and needs.

Training Design

The consultant will:

  • Develop a detailed training curriculum

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of feminist peacebuilding approaches
  • Experience working with civil society organizations in fragile settings
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills

Experience working in Yemen or the wider MENA region will be considered an advantage.
