About the Communication Strategist Role

The Communication Strategist will play a vital role at the intersection of communications, fundraising, and brand management. Key Responsibilities

The Communication Strategist will oversee a wide range of communication and fundraising activities, including:

  • Leading the implementation and development of Crisis Action’s global brand strategy.
  • Managing the organization’s visual identity, messaging, and storytelling framework.
  • Ensuring consistency across all external communications.
  • Creating compelling narratives that highlight Crisis Action’s unique coalition model.
  • Producing donor-focused materials, including proposals, reports, newsletters, presentations, and fundraising appeals.
  • Designing digital fundraising campaigns to engage existing and prospective supporters.
  • Developing powerful case studies and impact stories.
  • Supporting leadership communications and thought leadership initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should possess at least six years of professional experience in communications, branding, fundraising, or marketing, preferably within nonprofit, humanitarian, advocacy, or international development organizations.

Candidates should demonstrate:

  • Outstanding writing and editing skills.
  • Experience producing fundraising communications and donor engagement materials.

  • Starting salary from USD 45,000 per year.
