Collaborative Earth is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organisation focused on discovering pathways that integrate ecological systems and human communities.

The organisation brings together experts from diverse disciplines through Collaborative Earth Labs, which combine scientific research, local knowledge, design, and technology to develop innovative solutions for environmental challenges.

Since launching, Collaborative Earth has established nine labs, with several producing impactful research outputs and two progressing into fully funded projects focused on regenerating thousands of hectares of grasslands and forests while creating benefits for local communities.

The new Org Lead will guide the organisation’s next stage of growth, helping transform Collaborative Earth into an incubator and early-stage accelerator for nature-based solutions.

Leadership Role Focused on Organisational Growth and Innovation

Unlike a traditional Executive Director role, the Org Lead position focuses on collaborative leadership, network building, and enabling innovative ideas to emerge from diverse experts and communities.

The successful candidate will work with the board, team members, advisors, and partners to:

Key Responsibilities of the Org Lead

Develop Collaborative Earth’s Incubator and Accelerator Model

A major responsibility will be leading the development of Collaborative Earth’s future incubator and accelerator for nature-based solutions.

Key activities include:

• Engaging impact investors, philanthropic organisations, and catalytic capital partners.
• Gathering feedback from existing labs, projects, advisors, and stakeholders.
• Refining the process for launching new Collaborative Earth Labs.
• Creating technology systems to support:

• Launching new cohorts of environmental innovation labs.
• Exploring new financial models involving communities, investors, and nature-based enterprises.
