ChildFund International is recruiting a Specialist II, Corporate Partnerships to support its fundraising and engagement efforts by building relationships with corporate partners, managing workplace giving programmes, and identifying new business development opportunities.

Remote Corporate Partnerships Specialist Opportunity

The Specialist II, Corporate Partnerships will work within ChildFund’s Fundraising & Engagement Division, collaborating with colleagues across the organisation to strengthen relationships with businesses and expand corporate support for ChildFund’s mission.

While the position is affiliated with the International Office in Richmond, Virginia, qualified candidates may work fully remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Managing Corporate Partnerships (40%)

The successful candidate will:

• Manage a portfolio of corporate partners
• Build relationships with businesses supporting ChildFund
• Develop employee engagement and workplace giving initiatives
• Support child sponsorship and corporate philanthropy programmes
• Coordinate meetings and stewardship activities
• Prepare reports for corporate partners
• Manage ChildFund’s relationship with workplace giving platforms including:
  • Benevity
  • YourCause
  • Global Impact
• Oversee the organisation’s matching gift vendor contract
• Create partnership materials and stewardship resources

Supporting Strategic Partnerships (25%)

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting senior leadership with strategic corporate partnerships
• Preparing presentations, proposals, and pitch decks
• Participating in partner meetings
• Coordinating follow-up activities
• Assisting with partnership implementation

Corporate Research and Business Development (25%)

The Specialist will also:

• Conduct corporate due diligence research
• Assess prospective partners for mission alignment
• Prepare research reports and recommendations
• Track approvals and partnership renewals
• Support identification of new corporate funding opportunities

Administrative Support (10%)

Additional responsibilities include:

• Supporting annual planning and goal setting
• Monitoring fundraising performance
• Collaborating with Data and Analytics teams
• Updating internal procedures
• Processing matching gift acknowledgements
• Supporting special projects as required

Required Qualifications

Applicants should have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least five years of professional experience in one or more of the following:
  • Fundraising
  • Corporate social responsibility (CSR)
  • Philanthropy
  • Nonprofit development
• Vendor management experience is considered an advantage.
