CCRAN Hiring Bilingual Communications Coordinator for Remote Role in Canada | Salary: $50,000 Annually

The Colorectal Cancer Resource & Action Network (CCRAN) is seeking a creative, bilingual and detail-oriented professional to join its team as a Bilingual Communications Coordinator. This is a full-time remote position within Canada, offering an annual salary of $50,000.

About the Bilingual Communications Coordinator Role

Reporting to the President & CEO and Communications Manager, the Bilingual Communications Coordinator will support the implementation of CCRAN’s communications strategy across its digital platforms.

The position is execution-focused, with responsibilities spanning content creation, digital publishing, social media management, email marketing, website updates and performance monitoring.

The successful candidate will play an important role in helping CCRAN communicate with patients, caregivers, communities and other stakeholders across Canada.

Key Responsibilities

The Communications Coordinator will be responsible for developing, scheduling and publishing engaging content across social media platforms. The goal will be to increase awareness, engagement and community growth while maintaining a consistent organisational voice.

The successful candidate will also support digital campaigns connected to awareness months, events, advocacy initiatives and important organisational milestones.

Visual storytelling is another major component of the position. The coordinator will create graphics, infographics, carousels and event materials using Canva, ensuring that all materials follow CCRAN’s brand guidelines.

The role also includes creating and editing short-form video content for social media and other digital platforms.

In addition, the Communications Coordinator will assist with email marketing and monthly newsletters using Constant Contact. Responsibilities include formatting, testing and deploying email campaigns.

Website management will also form part of the position, with the coordinator updating and maintaining content through Webflow.

Another important responsibility will be monitoring digital performance metrics across social media, email and website platforms. The successful candidate will help turn analytics and performance data into practical recommendations for improving communications.

Required Qualifications and Skills

CCRAN requires candidates to be bilingual in English and French, both orally and in writing.

Applicants should also have a relevant college diploma, university degree or equivalent qualification.

The organisation is seeking candidates with one to three years of experience in communications and/or digital marketing.

Strong writing and editing abilities are essential, particularly the ability to adapt communication style according to different audiences and purposes.

Candidates should have professional experience managing social media platforms and creating visual content for digital and web environments.

Proficiency in Canva and basic video editing tools is required, while experience with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact will be valuable.

Familiarity with website content management systems is also desirable, with Webflow experience considered an asset.

Candidates should additionally understand digital performance metrics and be able to use analytics from social media, email marketing and websites to identify opportunities for improvement.
