About the Role
The Asia Protection Coordinator will provide leadership in responding to threats against human rights defenders throughout Asia. The role requires extensive engagement with human rights defenders, civil society organizations, and regional networks to strengthen protection mechanisms and respond rapidly to emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Build and maintain secure relationships with human rights defenders across Asia.
- Coordinate rapid responses to urgent protection cases.
- Manage cases involving defenders at immediate risk.

- Support protection grants and capacity-building programmes.

Required Qualifications
