Key Responsibilities
The Proposal Writer will take full ownership of the proposal development process, ensuring that each submission is polished, compliant, and strategically aligned. Core responsibilities include:
- Developing high-quality, client-ready proposal responses tailored to specific RFP requirements
- Producing clear, consistent, and well-structured content that adheres to proposal-writing standards
- Creating pitch materials such as slide decks, briefing notes, and speaking points for client meetings

Required Qualifications
Altamont Group seeks a candidate with proven expertise in proposal writing for donor-funded initiatives. Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; a Master’s degree is preferred
- Three to four years of experience developing proposals for NGOs, INGOs, foundations, or multilateral organizations
- Demonstrated experience across the humanitarian and development sectors
- Familiarity with results frameworks, MERL plans, theories of change, and capacity development methodologies
- Ability to deliver high-quality, client-ready proposals under tight deadlines
- Excellent English writing skills with strong attention to clarity, structure, and argumentation
