Classification: Independent Contractor
Duration: 12 months (with initial 3-month trial)
Location: Remote, based in the Global South
Rate: USD 6,250–8,250 per month (commensurate with experience)
Start Date: March 2026

Mighty Ally is seeking a senior-level Strategy Consultant to support its deep consulting work with growth-stage social impact organisations. This role offers the opportunity to shape bold, fundable, and findable brands that advance social justice at scale, while working closely with Mighty Ally’s founding partner and a purposefully small, high-performing team.

About Mighty Ally

Too many nonprofit organisations remain unseen, unheard, and underfunded. Fewer than one in 1,000 grows beyond a small-business scale, not because of lack of mission or effort, but because funding alone cannot fix structural challenges.

Mighty Ally’s core belief is simple: brand first, funding second. To unlock funding, organisations must be both fundable and findable.

Mighty Ally addresses this challenge through its proprietary Fundable/Findable Framework™, which supports organisations to:

  • Strengthen theory of change and strategic planning to become fundable
  • Clarify positioning strategy and marketing communications to become findable

Operating as a nonprofit hybrid, Mighty Ally focuses exclusively on early-stage and growth-stage organisations. The organisation serves as a catalyst between doers and donors, bringing a strong international perspective and deep sector expertise.

Mighty Ally’s 10-year ambition is to guide 5,000 bold brands that advance social justice for 500 million people globally.

Role Overview

The Strategy Consultant will provide expert, senior-level support across Mighty Ally’s client engagements. Working hand-in-hand with the founding partner who oversees the consulting practice, the consultant will guide growth-stage organisations through complex strategic, brand, and positioning challenges using the Fundable/Findable Framework™.
