Conducting Health Financing Research and Analysis
The consultant will:
- Review global and regional health financing trends
- Analyse policy developments affecting health systems
- Examine financing reforms in low- and middle-income countries
- Assess opportunities for sustainable HIV and health financing
Reviewing Strategic Opportunities
The consultant will evaluate:
- Frontline AIDS’ previous health financing-related work
- Organisational strengths and opportunities
- Potential areas for future investment
- Strategic advocacy priorities
Supporting Evidence-Based Programming
The consultant will produce research and recommendations to support:
- Future programme design
- Advocacy strategies
- Health financing partnerships
- Knowledge-sharing initiatives
Supporting Learning Activities
The assignment will also include supporting learning and knowledge exchange connected to an ongoing programme in Ukraine.
Who Can Apply?
Frontline AIDS is seeking experienced consultants with strong backgrounds in health financing and global health policy.
Applicants should have:
- Advanced qualifications in health economics, public health, public policy, development studies, or related fields
- Demonstrated experience in health financing and domestic resource mobilisation
- Knowledge of global health financing systems
- Experience with financing reforms and sustainability approaches
- Experience conducting policy reviews and evidence synthesis
- Excellent analytical and report-writing skills in English
Applicants should also understand major global health financing initiatives, including:
- African Leaders Meeting (ALM) framework
- Accra Reset
- Lusaka Agenda
- Global Financing Facility (GFF)
- Universal Health Coverage financing processes
Experience in HIV programs, humanitarian systems, and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) is an added advantage.
