About the Role
The Senior Advisor, Resource Mobilization and Strategic Engagement Consultant will serve as a principal strategic advisor to ARC’s Group Director General.
This is a senior-level consultancy focused on strengthening ARC’s financial sustainability, partnerships, and global positioning in climate and disaster risk financing.
The role sits at the intersection of diplomacy, resource mobilization, and institutional strategy, requiring deep expertise in high-level stakeholder engagement and international development finance.
Key Responsibilities
The consultant will lead and support several strategic areas, including:
Resource Mobilization & Partnerships
- Lead efforts to diversify and expand ARC’s funding base
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships with governments, donors, and institutions
- Support negotiation of partnership agreements at senior levels
- Strengthen ARC’s positioning within global climate and finance networks
Strategic Advisory Support
- Advise the Group Director General on institutional strategy and external engagement
- Provide high-level guidance on donor relations and political engagement
- Support development of strategic work plans and organizational priorities
Advocacy and Institutional Positioning
- Represent ARC in multilateral and intergovernmental forums
- Strengthen ARC’s visibility within climate, agriculture, insurance, and finance ecosystems
- Contribute to advocacy strategies that advance ARC’s mission
Intelligence and Analysis
- Lead donor mapping and strategic intelligence analysis
- Translate complex data into actionable insights for decision-making
- Support reporting systems that improve partnership effectiveness
Who Should Apply?
