About the Transparency and Compliance Assistant Role

Key Responsibilities
Compliance Monitoring and Verification
The selected candidate will support compliance reviews across different departments and operational locations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing documentation from Finance, Logistics, and Human Resources departments
- Conducting monthly quality checks using standard compliance tools
- Verifying invoices, budgets, and personnel files
- Reporting compliance issues to management
- Supporting corrective action plans and improvements
Through these activities, the assistant will help ensure that ACTED processes remain accurate, transparent, and aligned with organisational standards.
Supporting Internal and External Audits
A major responsibility of this role will be assisting with audit preparation and follow-up.
The Transparency and Compliance Assistant will contribute by:
- Collecting documentation required for external audits
- Identifying possible issues before audit processes begin
- Supporting internal audit missions at operational bases
- Preparing audit documentation and reports

Required Qualifications and Experience
ACTED is looking for candidates who demonstrate commitment to transparency, accountability, and ethical practices.

- At least one year of experience in auditing, internal controls, or compliance
- Understanding of financial, logistics, and human resources procedures
