The GST is a dynamic and highly qualified roster that deploys on short notice to both emergency and non-emergency contexts, providing crucial support to IRC’s mission. Who is the Global Surge Team (GST)?
The Global Surge Team consists of highly specialized professionals who are ready to deploy to areas where urgent humanitarian assistance is needed. GST members play a vital role in IRC’s emergency response, supporting both ongoing programs in crisis regions or helping to establish new operations in areas affected by disasters and conflict. This team operates flexibly, with members deployed for up to three months at a time, with the possibility of extension.
